The Story

100% cotton denim is one of my favorite materials to upcycle. A kimono style jacket is timeless and a perfect way to use old jeans. This one should become even more beautiful with wear and tear, perhaps turning into a Boro style garment someday.

I’m an upcycle fashion designer writing sewing tutorials since 2015. The pattern is my own design, the Carol Jacket. It’s also been made from vintage linens, old quilts, shower curtains, and mixed fabrics.
